Which Herbal Program is right for me?
Is the Apprentice Herbalist Certification right for me?
We offer an inclusive view on how different cultures have created what we now refer to as North American Medicine.
Our academic approach is anchored in an immersion into traditional herbal medicine systems from multiple North American communities, including the philosophy and core pharmacopeia of Traditional European Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurveda.
This melding of traditional medicine systems, science and hands on experience is uniquely supportive for the person who works in the healthcare field and seeking an authentic integrative herbal medicine education, diving into a botanical product line and wants a stronger understanding of the medicine of plants, a desire to work in a healing career, and those who are called to an herbal way of life.
You will leave as an Apprentice Herbalist, possessing basic diagnostic skills to identify pathology and skillfully apply herbal medicine with precision. Resourced by a blend of medicine systems, energetic practices and science, you will be able to craft simple formulas and recommend lifestyle practices, uplifting the health and wellness of your friends, family and yourself!
You will also be prepared to begin the Clinical Year, diving deeper into diagnostic strategies and sitting in session with clients.
