As a participant, you’ll receive 2oz of dandelion root extract that was grown by Oshala Farms and tinctured by Five Flavors Herbs.

Over the course of 2 weeks you'll take dandelion root and easily track your responses and experiences in real time using the exclusive People Science app. Watch your data come to life as you contribute to cutting-edge research and engage with a community committed to holistic wellness.

REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE:

• Are you currently pregnant, planning to become pregnant in the next 1 month, or breastfeeding?
  • Out of an abundance of caution, you should NOT participate in this study if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Do you have any known hypersensitivity or previous allergic reaction to dandelion root?
  • If you have an allergy to dandelion root, you should NOT participate in this study.

• Do you avoid alcohol entirely?
  • The study intervention is an extract in alcohol. If you do not consume any alcohol, you should NOT participate in this study.

You also must...

• Be able to attend a live virtual orientation on Sept 21st at 1PM PT.
• Have access to your own mobile device for reporting.

Why are we asking for donations?
Citizen science research does not exist in herbal medicine - we're dedicated to changing that. This is a not-for-profit, community-led project with the aim of advancing citizen research for herbal medicines. The study itself is randomized & controlled with data aggregated by People Science's team of trusted researchers, scientists, and statisticians.

This is our 2nd annual participatory study but the first time ever we're opening it up to our entire community! Donations will be used for covering shipping costs.
